More snubs have been welded on to the firebox backhead by the coded welder particularly around the firehole area for mounting such things as the fire door support and the rocking grate mechanism. The fire doors are being machined and the runners and support area are partly constructed.

The fireman's seat is near to completion, a typical loco tip up wooden seat.

The rear sand pipes are partly completed and work is in progress on shaping the front pipes.

The length of vertical angle in the front right hand corner of the cab is now in place and in due course the front spectacle plate will be refitted.

Lubrication pipework continues to make progress.
